Class Descriptions


All Levels Yoga is just as it sounds. During this class, classic yoga poses are practiced with an emphasis on alignment and options for modifications. This class is appropriate for people brand new to yoga as well as folks who have been practicing for some time.

Like all yoga classes at pranaSTRONG yoga & wellness studio, this class is tailored to the folks who are there. Be willing to show up and meet yourself where ever you are that day. So if you’ve been practicing for some time and want to take it up a notch, you can feel free to deepen your practice in this class. Conversely, if you’re brand new to yoga, you’re welcome in this class to learn the basics of the practice. Most important is that you listen to your body and take this time to deepen your connection to self.


Open to all levels. A Slow Flow class where you will move from posture to posture guided by your breath. Modifications and variations will be offered as needed.

Candle Light Yoga & Meditation

This class will be a slow flow of postures with a deep focus on the breath to wind down your day with an extended relaxation, pranayama (breathing practice) and a short meditation. Feel free to bring your own meditation cushion and/or mala beads.


A flow yoga class with additional strengthening exercises incorporated into the sequence. Hand weights, Pilates balls and other props may be used. A prior knowledge of Sun Salutations and basic yoga postures is suggested.
This class is not recommended for beginners although modifications will be given as needed.

In Vinyasa (or Flow) yoga, the postures are linked together in a fluid movement with the breath as you focus on the CORE, so the poses ‘flow’ from one to the next. Postures are not held for long periods of time. This form of yoga practice is meant to create a comfortable heat in the body which will burn more calories while increasing flexibility and CORE strength.

Core & Abdominal Strength Yoga
Ignite the Fire of POWER and WILL in your third Chakra (Solar Plexus) this Fall/Winter, by building your core strength.
In this 60 minute Abdominal & Core Strength class we will start with a full body warmup to prepare for Core work that will focus on strengthening the abdominal, lower back, pelvic and hip muscles. Each class will end with cooling down and guided relaxation.

Qigong and Yoga

Beginners Yoga Series

This class will be a four week beginners yoga class. The beginner class will cover the fundamentals of Yoga, postures (asanas), relaxation, breathing (pranayama) and meditation. Upon completion of the four week beginner workshop you should feel comfortable to attend any "All levels" class at pranaSTRONG yoga studio.
